He was predeceased by: his wife Barb; his daughter Sandra; his son-in-law Dan; and his siblings, Tom McCann and Joyce French.
He is survived by: his son Brian (Maria); his grandchildren, Mike (Amber), Chris (Kenzie), Danielle (Brandon) and Jeremy; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Josh, Weston, Rey, Charlotte, Norah and Jack; his brother Cliff; his siblings-in-law, Barb Middleton and Pete Balfour; and his cousin Eva (Jack Bourne).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McCleister Funeral Home (495 Park Rd N, Brantford, ON N3R7K8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (169 Charing Cross St, Brantford, ON N3R2J3).
