He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignazio Pontoriero and Eleonora Pontoriero; his sister Vincenza Pontoriero; and his in-laws, Ferdinando and Maria Martorano.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Martorano; his daughters, Eleonora Pontoriero (James) and Anna Maria Pontoriero; and his brothers, Guiseppe (late Maria) of Argentina and Giacomo. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Brantford General Hospital, or St. Pius X Church.
