He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh and Caroline; his brothers, Thompson and Norman; and his grandson Florian.

He is survived by: his wife Janice; his sons, Bill and Jesse (Natascha); his grandchildren, Benedykt, Julianna and Marlena; his siblings, Margaret, Winston (Anne) and Raymond (Margaret); and his sister-in-law Sharon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
