He was predeceased by: his wife Elvira Nunn (McAuliffe); and his brothers, John Nunn and Edward "Mac" Nunn. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alana, Jarod McAuliffe and Sadie; his friend Marilyn Salmon; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Simmons and James Nunn (Jean); and his sons, Stan Wright Cartage, Leasing and Laidlaw Transport.
