We bid farewell to Denzil Sawyer of Brantford, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 24, 2025 at the age of 94. Denzil touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Denzil Sawyer and Dorothea Alice Sawyer; and his sister Judith Rogerson. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Louise Sawyer; his children, Frank Sawyer (Ginnelle Elliott) and Jennifer Sawyer (Garett Pratt); his granddaughters, Maggie, Pippa Elliott Sawyer, Matilda and Tuva Sawyer-Pratt; his siblings, Frank Lynn (Mary), Robert Dale (Liz Marshall) and Dian Kuzyk (Nick Vandenberg); and his sister-in-law Suzanne Froud (Philip Pretten).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Grace Anglican Church (4 Pearl St, Brantford, ON N3T3N4).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Anglican Chuch, Brantford General Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
