She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Ralph Ashby; her sons, Doug (Wendy) and Keith Ashby (Cheryl); her siblings, Arley Cook, Grace Killingbeck (Ken) and Howard Cook; her sister-in-law Joan Cook; her grandchildren, Lindsey (Scott), Tyler (Julia), Kelly (Kevin), Brad and Leah; and her great grandchildren, Emily, William, Arthur, Jordan, Arley, Vanessa and Ryan.
