He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jack, Jim and Marlene. He is survived by: his wife Irene Rutherford; his sons, Scott Holmes (Heather) of North Carolina and David Holmes (Marika) of London, UK; his grandchildren, Lauren, Jason, Ollie and Sophie; his children, Nicole Holmes, Ollie, Sophie, Catherine and Andrew; and his siblings, Bob, Ken and Sue.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rick's memory to the Royal Canadian Legion, the Veterans Association Food Bank, or the Veterans Transition Network.
