She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Garvin Sr.; and her daughter Sandy O'Rafferty. She is survived by: her children, Tamara Grills and Sweet; her stepchild Freddie Garvin (Patty); her grandchildren, Jordan Embury (Jennifer) and Brittany Beales; her sisters, Reva McCoy and Marlene Stewart (Keith); her great-niece Freedom; and her close friends, Carole N. and Edi E. Gail. She is also survived by the extended family, friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted for The Pregnancy Center of Brant, The Stedman Hospice or Evangel Church of Brantford.
