George Cornwell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, at the age of 94, George Cornwell (Brantford, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Bill; his parents, Ben Cornwell and Sarah Cornwell; and his siblings, Fred and Shirley.
He is survived by: his children, Susan (Dan) and Danny (Tina); his grandchildren, Byron (Allissa), Nikyla (Colton), Taylor and Justin; his great grandchildren, Zayda, Xavier, Izaiah, Cathy, Della-Rae and Emberly; and his wife Lily. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews and cousins, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McCleister Funeral Home (495 Park Rd N, Brantford, ON N3R7K8). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George may be made to Langford Community Church or a Children's Charity of your choice.
