He was predeceased by: his parents, George Petersen and Mildred Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his sons, Matt and Adam (Mary); his nieces, Jennifer Weed (Ron) and Elizabeth Hinkle (Stephen); his nephew Patrick Hart (Angie); and his sibling Ruth-Ann Ross.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (300 Fairview Dr, Brantford, ON N3R2X6).
In Gord's memory and in lieu of flowers, donations to Mission City Bible Church or Compassion Canada would be appreciated by the family.
