He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Koopman and Jozina Koopman; and his brothers, John and Reinier. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Kalka (Shawn), Kyle Koopman (Christeena), Brandy Lehman (Aaron), Grace Koopman and Arend Koopman; his stepchildren, Natashia and Alice; his grandchildren, Dawson, Ethan, Lucas, Liam, Heidi, Hailie and Joshua; and his siblings, Johanna Deboer, Hendrika Krygsman, Josina Jones, Bernadine Lowe, Kathleen Koopman, Elizabeth Hooper, Mary Causyn, Keri Koopman, Teresa Bakker, Patricia Koopman and Frank Koopman. He is also survived by extended family here and in Holland and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
