He is survived by: his nephew Jerry Ward; his wife Shirley Parsons of Brampton; his daughter Ashley Saunders of Brampton, Ontario.; his siblings, Lewis Saunders (Shelia) of Kentucky, Winston Saunders of Brooks Alberta, Clyde Saunders (Marilyn) of La Scie, Bernice Ward Green (Donn) of La and Laura Rice (Pleman) of Labrador City; his mother-in-law Louise Sheppard of Lark Harbour; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Sheppard of Lark Harbour, Sean Sheppard (Karen) of St. Johns, Mary-Lou Sheppard (Alan) of York Harbour and Bonnie Astorino (Mario) of Brinston Ontario.
