She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, George, Deanna Phillips (Frank), Chris (Marcy) and Jay (Maria); her grandchildren, Peter, Blake Phillips, Katie, Mac, Jacob Nyyssonen, Joah, Kalla, Levi Nyyssonen, Emily, Isaac Tufford, Joey Woloshyn and Shannon Murphy; her great grandchildren, Lily and Elizabeth; her parents, Bert and Gert; her sister Linda; her brothers-in-law, Russell Szczur and Paul Dereniwski; her sister Shirley Dereniwski; and her children, Orphanage, Fish For Life and Kids Ministries. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews, her many dear friends.
