With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Holland (Brantford, Ontario). Joan, born on May 20, 1940, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy; her grandchildren, Jeshua (Caroline), Shannelle, Brielle (Mitch), Nolan (Brietta), Charissa (Kevin), Rachel (Patrick), Jesiah, Shyann, Gabriella (Clader), Ben (Annora), Shyanne and Sierra; her great grandchildren, Ruth, Willow, Mexihano, Lillijana, Brynlee, Ernie, Browynn, Lochryn, Oliver, Paisley, Calvin, Louise, Elliott, Skyler and Embrey; her parents, Roy Crowder and Irene Crowder; and her brother Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Vogt, Patricia Cruickshank (Donald), Rory Holland and Monty Holland (Michelle); and her siblings, Gayle Hudson, Susanne Sutherland (John) and Lynda Easterbrook (Harry). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre (88 Brant Ave, Brantford, ON N3T3H3). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Stenabaugh Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
