John Gilchrist Obituary

It’s with great sadness we announce the passing of John Wayne Gilchrist on Friday May 9th at the age of 61. Loving father to Kyle Fox, brothers Sonny, Vince (Judy), Robert and sister Isabelle. Amazing uncle to Micheal, Robert, Brenden, Nathan, Cory, Danielle & Kayla. Great uncle to Jaida, Julianna, Jodi, Jordyn, Julius, Carter, Macy, Brody, Scarlett and Ivy. Fondly remembered by Sheila Maddock, Aunt Jill Stanly and Uncle Phil Stanley. Predeceased by his parents William “Whitey” Zane Gilchrist (2021), Myrna Maxine Carpenter (2017) and stepfather Gene Carpenter (2012). John will be sadly missed by family, many friends and his dog Paco.
John will be remembered for his artistic skill in air brush, his willingness to always lend a hand to anyone that needed it. He was always the life of the party, coming up with games to play at Kyles and his nieces and nephews birthday parties! He loved fishing, biking and being outdoors.
