He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Violet and Gordon Joseph McLachlan; and his brother Gary McLachlan (Sharon). He is survived by: his significant other Deb Weaver; his children, Val Brooks (Kevin), Peggy Urwin (Kenny), Kevin McLachlan (Lisa), Janet McLachlan, James McLachlan (Kristen), Heather McLachlan, Lori Elliot (Derrick) and Patty DaSilva (Brian); his grandchildren, Darci, Bradley, Angela, Alicia, Cody, Blaise, Shayla, Alexis, Savanna, Jaxon, Dylan, Alyssa, Hayden, Samantha, Daniel, Tori, Jenna, Jacob, Nathan, Noah, Sophia, Aiden, Jordan and Lukas; and his sister Carol Stutt (Robert). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in John's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
