She was predeceased by: her husband James Glenford Chapin. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Torti (Larry), Judy Chapin, Jackie Chapin, Daniel Chapin (Freda), David Chapin (Sue) and Brenda Jackson (Mike). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association and Heart & Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
