With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Elaine Burns (Brantford, Ontario), who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her parents, Janet and Colin; and her brother Robert. She is also survived by mother and daughter; they were each other's best friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Toll Funeral Home (55 Charing Cross St, Brantford, ON N3R2H4). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.

In recognition of the exceptional care Karen received, the family is directing donations to Hamilton Health Science or Stedman Community Hospice.
