He is survived by: his wife Sally Erling-Bartle; his children, Kela Ashworth (Liam) and Jesse Bartle (Jackie); his granddaughter Charlotte Ashworth; and his brother Paul Bartle (Diane). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
