He was predeceased by: his siblings, Glen, Harvey, Lynda Marie and Greg. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Wayne (Vicki), Wendy Buryta (Jerry), Barney (Tammy) and Scott (Cindy); and his brother Ross Chapin (Donna). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
