He is survived by: his parents, Fergie Mels (Betty) and Judy Ward; his son Nathan Mels; his stepchildren, Cierra, Taylor, Alisha and Anthony; and his siblings, Anita Bolt (Dave), Michele (Dave) and Ray (Jody). He is also survived by his niece, nephews, family and friends.
