She was predeceased by: her children, Karen Short and David; her grandchildren, Zachary, Michael and Amanda; and her parents, Michael Neil and Margaret MacNeil.
She is survived by: her spouse Carol Burns; and her children, Rochelle Iino (Tomo), Bobby, Micheal, Leona Foster (Ted), Cathy Boyce (Ted), Shirley Norris (Rick), Margie Yamamoto (Dave), Brenda Gavloski (Jim), Theresa Davis (Bill), Pam Jacobi (Steve), Darcy and Tammy Quin (Jim). She is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations honouring Marie's memory would be appreciated at St. Vincent de Paul Society or your local food bank.
