With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Martin Vanrooy (Brantford, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his daughter Lisa Adriana; his grandson Robert Jewitt; his parents, Marinus Vanrooy and Anna Maria Vanrooy; his sister Dora Vanrooy (Verhaege); his sister-in-law Edith Vanrooy (Terpstra); his brothers, John and Tony Vanrooy; his mother-in-law Adriana Loomans (Lambregts); and his nephews, Lee Loomans and Timothy Feeney.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Vanrooy (Loomans); his children, David Vanrooy, Rebecca Lennon (Robert), Christopher Vanrooy (Sheila) and Rosemarie Vanrooy (Rick Minion); his grandchildren, Lincoln, Oakley, Ben and Wyatt; his brothers, Bill (Joanne), Maro (Anne) and Riny Vanrooy; and his in-laws, Marian Vanrooy, Helena Feeney, Lyn Loomans, Pete Loomans (Rose), Tony Loomans (Doreen), Audrey Loomans and Paula Loomans. He is also survived by nephews and cousins.
