He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Kavanagh; his parents, Margaret Kavanagh and Peter Kavanagh; and his siblings, Peter Kavanagh and Isobel Treverton.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Kavanagh and Charlene Palinkas (Mark); his stepchildren, Sonja Kavanagh (Tim), Jim Kuches (Charlene) and Deb Schroeder (Don); his grandchildren, Shane Kavanagh (Leanna), Sausha Kavanagh, Christopher Frystak (Jocelyn), Philip Kuches (Sam), Stella, Myra, Ephraim and Baby Kuches; his siblings, Patrick Kavanagh (Doreen), Mary Garrison (Russ) and Maggie Smith (Leo); and his nieces and nephews, Sharon, Rick, Tim, Rob, Christine, Bo, Michael, Peter, Lynda, Tommy and Leo.
