It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Thomas Gilks of Brantford, Ontario, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ralph Gilks, Carolyn Luke and Allister Cowan. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Gilks and Lynor Gilks of Brantford; his brothers, Timothy Gilks (Barb Leszcynski) of Brantford and David Gilks of Paris; his nieces and nephews, Quinn Gilks, Lukah Gilks and Ethan Vincent; and his grandmother Pam Gilks.

In Matthew's memory, donations to St. Leonard's Community Services would be appreciated by the family.
