He is survived by: his parents, Syd Boer and Joanne De Boer; his siblings, Carol-Ann Zwart (Dirk) and Marlene Lochkrin (Jarome); and his nieces and nephews, Amanda (Nathan), Matthew (Rachel), Alex (Cayleigh), Anika and Lexi. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and many cousins.
