She was predeceased by: her husband George Markle; and her granddaughter Emily. She is survived by: her children, Gord (Marilyn), Murray (Kathleen), Brian (Pat) and Bill (Linda); her grandchildren, Matthew, Andrea, Angela, Brent, Sasha, Brad, Lisa, Robin, Derek Morley, Jill, Steven Bouchard, Lindsay and Alicia; her sister Fran Poirier; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Durnford and Edna Jerome; and her friends, Jackie Markle and Judy Chambers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no visitation.
