He was predeceased by : his parents, Norma Claire Braund and Ernest Ralph Braund. He is survived by : his wife Brenda; his children, Christie (Mike), Samantha, Stephanie (Alex) and Matthew (Stephanie); his stepchildren, Jason (Dianne), Christopher (Jennifer), Robert Jr. and Jeanna; his siblings, Bill (Lorna), Kathy (Jim), Terry (Brenda), John (Linda), David (Bev), Pat (Diane), Sue, Rob (Kim) and Lori (Rick); and his caregivers, Bayshore and Dr. Singh. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Toll Funeral Home (55 Charing Cross St, Brantford, ON N3R2H4). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
