She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie Vandenberg and Jacoba Vandenberg; and her sibling Zeina Vandenberg. She is survived by: her husband Keith Brooks; her children, Cindy Young, Jacoba Young-Dixon (Grant) and William Young; her stepchildren, Kelly Brooks (Martin) and Robert Brooks (Kelly); her siblings, Sylvia Atfield (Clifford), Jack Vandenberg (Paulette), Gerry Vandenberg (Doug), Sonya McComb (Bob) and Harry Vandenberg (Ada); and her grandchildren, Piper Kozbiel, Nicholas, Malaya Young, Robbie, Thomas, Samara Lowerison, Ryan and Evelyn Brooks.
