She was predeceased by: her husband José Martins. She is survived by: her children, Gorette DiSabatino (Ben), Debbie Martins and Paul Martins (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Victoria (Carson), Rachel (Kendrick), Samantha (John) and Seth (Dianna); and her brother Paulo DeSousa.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association, Sick Kids or Juravinski Cancer Centre in Ruth's memory would be appreciated.
