She was predeceased by: her parent Carman Knight; her husband Bruce Sargent; her siblings, Bob and Eileen; and her daughter Karen.
She is survived by: her parent Helen Knight; her sibling Bill; her children, David (Shirley), Glenn (Eneke), Judy, Steven and Shelley (Bill); her grandchildren, Melissa, Amanda (Rob), Wayne, Jason, Tanya, William, Matthew, Robert (Joseé), Eric and Ceilidh (Lorne); and her great grandchildren, Abigayle, Ethan, Owen, Tyler, Lauryn, Sacha and Emily.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Ruth made to the Palliative Care floor at the BGH would be gratefully appreciated.
