She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carey and Alice Carey. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Steve Lomas (Leanne) and Tina Schoeman; her grandchildren, Leah Schoeman-Rowe (Brandon) and Tristan Andruski; her sister Sandra Clements; her nieces, Jamie Clements and Dana Appleby (Dave); and her nephew Wade Alkema (Karen).
