She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hess and Vera Hess; and her siblings, John, Gary, Jim and June.
She is survived by: her children, Karen (Gordon), Kathy (Jim), Kris (Dwayne), Kelly (Rob) and Kevin (Christine); her friend Wilf Bethune; her brothers, Dan (Candy) and Tom (Heather); and her caregiver Lee Staats. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, her "twin cousin", many nieces and nephews.
