He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew O'Neill and Mary Ann O'Neill (MacDonald); and his siblings, Bill, Jack, Cecil, Teresa, Martin, Micky, Tony, Anna and Joan.
He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy (Swinton); his children, John (Chris) of Brantford, Patti (Ernie) of Aurora and Jim (Chris) of Brantford; his grandchildren, Kristen (Travis) of Toronto, Sean of Vancouver, Brendon (Diyar) of Montreal, Casey (Jessica) of Brantford, Julia (Ryan) of Toronto and Stephanie of Aurora; his great grandchildren, Asa of Toronto, Keaton, Beckham and Blakley of Brantford; and his brother-in-law Ray McNeil (Toronto).
Most significantly, in January of 1993, Vince was awarded the Commemorative Medal for the 125th Anniversary of Canadian Confederation from the Governor General of Canada for significant contributions to Canada, to their community, or to their fellow citizens.
