Wendy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Wendy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Wendy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Anne and Harvey Alan Wood; and her brother Scott Wood. She is survived by: her daughter Shelby Teeple (Carey Teeple); her grandchildren, Sheldon Teeple and Charlie McKinnon Teeple; and her siblings, Patsy Campbell (Evan), Rhonda Burbridge (Paul) and Greg Wood (Karen).
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home (1105 Rest Acres Rd, Paris, ON N3L3E3).
In lieu of flowers, Shelby and her fiancé, Tye, invite those wishing to honour Wendy's memory to consider a donation to Brantford Native Housing (https://brantfordnativehousing.com.) supporting their work to mitigate homelessness within the Brantford Indigenous community.
