He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Doreen [Barkley] Balazs; and his siblings, Mary [Balazs] Miller, Joseph and Frank Balazs. He is survived by: his children, Carrie [Lary], Bill [Natasha] and Ron [Cindy]; his stepson Thom [Jane]; his grandchildren, Shannon, Sarah, Emily, Zach, Olivia, Jenna, Andrew and Shaun; his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Carson and Carter; and his friend Dave Perrett.
