He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sutton and Edna Sutton; his brother Gilbert Sutton; and his brothers-in-law, Percy Knox and James Bryce.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his son Jeff; his stepchildren, David Nicholson (Ruth Ryckman), Chris Nicholson and April Phillips (John); and his parents-in-law, Earlene Sutton, Shirley Bryce, Sue Knox (Brian Wilson), Gord Knox (Teena) and Ken Knox (Jackie). He is also survived by children and great grandchildren.
