She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman Wemekamp and Aaltje Wemekamp; her husband John Postma of Brighton; and her children, John Jr. (Brighton), Bill (Carryl), Joanne Wright (Newmarket), Rick (Bolton) and Larry (Wendy).
