He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Klaas Heslinga and Maria Heslinga; his wife Debra Heslinga (Down); his children, Daniel (Elizabeth) of Kingston, Christopher (Jesse) of Victoria, BC and Jennifer (Jason) of Colborne; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Nathan, Mary and Elodie; and his siblings, Ben (Michele) and Renita (Mark) of Carson's Camp.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sandpiper Centre (8 Mills Rd, Brighton, ON K0K1H0).
