Douglas Harold Simzer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Harold Simzer of Brinston, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Simzer (Nee Cronin) and Arnold Simzer; and his siblings, Norman and Shirley. He is survived by: his sons, Steve (Linda) and Mark Simzer (Lisa); his grandchildren, Cole (Ashlee), Devon (Rachel), Noah, Tess (Derek) and Jay (Megan); his great grandchildren, Leo, Paisley, Everleigh and Emery; and his siblings, Henry, Mike (Jody), Margaret (Harry) and Elizabeth (late Bruce). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Byers Funeral Home (2990 Church St, South Mountain, ON K0E1W0). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Maple Ridge Cemetery (12820-12898 County Rd 43, Winchester, ON K0C1H0).
