She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David Downing; her children, Marla Newell (Lanny) and Scott Downing (Aarthi); her grandchildren, Jonathan McConachie, Noah McConachie and Ariaana Downing; her sisters, Linda Kirkby (Ted), Denise Covill (Michael), Alynn Lyons-Page (Chris) and Sandra; and her parents, Allen Covill and Dorothy Covill.
