With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bruce Bracken of Brockville, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bruce left this world on April 9, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr Clifford Bracken and Florence Bracken of Brockville; his siblings, Clifford, Lawrence, Ruth and Helen; and his daughter-in-law Marilynn.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Joan; his grandchildren, Chad (Amanda), Justin, Megan (Alice), Jessica (Sal), Carly, Shone, Robyn, Kody, Senna, Cooper and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Thain, William, Jacob, Henry, Adelina, Myla, Lia, Michela and Millie; and his sister Connie. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barclay Funeral Home (137 Pearl St E, Brockville, ON K6V1R2). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Bruce Bracken Memorial Scholarship Fund by way of the Brockville and Area Community Foundation (https://www.yourcommunityfoundation.ca.) or BGH Palliative Care.
