He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murphy and Marjorie Dier; his siblings, Shirley White, Gary Murphy (Betty Anne), Ena Murphy and Connie Noonan; and his brother-in-law Jeff Blair.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Wade Murphy (Jason Patterson) and Shannon Murphy-Hum (Chris Hum); his sisters, Kaye McLellan (Phil) and Ann Moedt (late John); and his sister-in-law Janet MacLaren (Jack). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke or Cheo Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
