It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Kenneth Cross of Brockville, Ontario, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Cross and Freda Cross; his in-laws, Herb and Beatrice Simpson; his sisters-in-law, Betty Box, Linda Weddum (Martin), Flo Andress and Mary Jane Latimer (Bill); and his sibling's children, Tammy Easter and Bob Simpson.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Cross (Simpson); the fathers of children, Jonathan (Dana), Mark (Leah) and Adam (Ashley); his grandchildren, Ava, Jacob, Chloe, Oliver, Oaklynn, Scarlett, Cohen and Mackinley; his siblings, Ann Huntley (Chris), Brian Cross (Sally) and Janet Lundy (Brian); his siblings-in-law, Penny Bahm (Brent), Fay Simpson (Heather), Debbie Carley (Dwight), Cindy LePage (Alex), Reg Simpson (Bonnie), Barb Box, Pat Simpson, Shirley Easter, Glen Box and Peter Andress; his uncles, Fred Vickery and Wayne; his aunt Frances Halfpenny; and his cousin Ron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barclay Funeral Home - Brockville (137 Pearl St E, Brockville, ON K6V1R2). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home (137 Pearl St E, Brockville, ON K6V1R2). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:00 PM at the same location.
