He was predeceased by: his parents, Forbes Ring and Marion Ring; his son Steven Ring; his brothers, Robert and Alex Ring; his sister-in-law Rita Ring; and his sister Berna Hales (Brian).
He is survived by: his child Erryn Sterritt (Bill); his granddaughters, Alicia Allan (Steve) and Arianna Sterritt (Everitt); his great grandchildren, William and Cadence Allan; his former wife Andrea Ring; and his sister Blanche Flood (Ken).
