He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Eva; and his siblings, Vivian, Floyd, Harold, Arthur and Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Donna, Shirlee (Earl), Don Jr. (Wanda), Peter (Brenda), Robert (Heather) and Beverly (Shane); and his brother Edward. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
