Doris Wood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025, at the age of 85, Doris Wood (Brockville, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Muriel Paquette and Arthur Cole; her brother Orlie Cole; her husband LeRoy "Woody" Wood; and her children, Kelly Smith (Paul), Greg Wood (Virginia) and Kathy Hunt (Glen).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Meagan Smith-Mutton (Chris), Justin Casciano-Smith (Lauren), Courtney Brock (Shannon), Jennifer Wood and Rachel Birtch (Mathew); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Beckham, Hayes, Wells, Astin, Addison, Adlee and Thomas; and her sisters-in-law, Suzanne Johns and Jacqueline Cole. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
