Doug Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doug Brown (Brockville, Ontario), who passed away on May 14, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brown and Carrie Brown (Edwards); his brother Gordon Brown; and his brothers-in-law, Purvis Weir and Gordon Barrie.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Brown (Barrie); his children, Shawn Brown (Missy) and Christie LaBrash (Jon); his grandchildren, Maddie, Evan Brown and Jack LaBrash; his sister Margaret Weir; and his siblings-in-law, Marjorie Brown, Gail Jackson, Chris Blair, David Barrie (Beverlee) and Kevin Barrie (Alex). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 virus funeral arrangements will be private with burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ingleside at a later date.
In memory of Doug, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
