He was predeceased by: his parents, David Monteith and Effie Monteith (Larocque); and his sister Carol Fairbairn. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Monteith (MacDonald); his children, Michael Monteith (Mariann) of Mallorytown and Jennifer Birtch (Charlie) of Mallorytown; his grandchildren, Tim, John, Michael (Jenna), Bailey (Rhyker), Alexandra, Charlotte (Ryan) and Clarke; his great grandchildren, Parker and Penny; and his sister Sandra Monteith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
