He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mustard and Olive Mustard; his siblings, Marjorie Kearney and Jim Mustard; and his brothers-in-law, Ford Guilboard and Bob Kearney.

He is survived by: his siblings, Connie Guilboard, Dorothy Hanafi (Nabeel) and Larry Mustard (Dianah); his sister-in-law Marsha Mustard; and his nephew Cory. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
